This week, the first-in-the-league New York Liberty will be visited by the Dallas Wings — for the second game in a row. On August 20, the Liberty beat the Wings 94-74.
The Liberty, led by their two Olympic gold medalists Breanna Stewart and Sabrina Ionescu, are currently the only WNBA team to have clinched a playoff berth with just under a month left in the 2024 season. They’re entering tonight’s game on a seven-game win streak, while Dallas has lost eight of their last 10.
