When the season kicks off tonight, it’ll be doing so with a new rule that applies to, well, the kickoff. The new Dynamic Kickoff Rule gives special teams coordinators a chance to devise new kickoff plays and rules.
“I just think it’s going to be so much more exciting for the fans,” Chiefs special teams coordinator Dave Toub said.
