“Another Simple Favor,” starring Blake Lively and Anna Kendrick, will premiere tomorrow on Prime Video. The new film is a sequel to 2018’s “A Simple Favor,” in which Lively and Kendrick will reprise their roles as stylish, diabolical Emily and mommy-vlogger-turned-author Stephanie, respectively.
The new film, set in picturesque Capri, was also filmed there; it takes place five years after the first film, as Emily is set to wed an Italian businessman. It currently holds an 81% score on Rotten Tomatoes based on 42 early reviews.
“Another Simple Favor” is being released amid rumors of a feud between the leads that director Paul Feig denied and an ongoing lawsuit between Lively and her “It Ends With Us” co-star Justin Baldoni.
“Another Simple Favor” comes out on Prime Video at 3 a.m. ET on Thursday, May 1.
