Week 5 of the NFL is opening with an all-California rivalry game on Thursday Night Football as the San Francisco 49ers head south to take on a fellow NFC West team, the Los Angeles Rams.

Both teams are coming into TNF with 3-1 records; the Niners were undefeated through Week 4 when they fell to the Jaguars; the Rams recorded their only loss in Week 3 to the Eagles. The 49ers are, so far, 2-0 in divisional play, while the Rams haven’t faced a divisional rival until tonight’s game.

Niners quarterback Brock Purdy will miss his third straight game this week with a toe injury, so Mac Jones will make his third start for the team. In two starts, Jones is 53-for-80 with 563 yards and 4 touchdowns.
