If you were one of the fans eagerly anticipating Daisy Jones & The Six‘s series premiere, you probably already know that music will to be a massive part of the show. After all, the show centers on a fictional band that made a hugely popular album in the 1970s.
Fans of the book that the show is based on have long wondered what the songs written into the book might sound like if they were real, but that waiting is finally over: “Aurora” is here.
Following two lead singles, “Regret Me” and “Look At Us Now (Honeycomb),” the entire 11-track album was released on digital on March 2.
Riley Keough, Sam Claflin, Will Harrison, Sebastian Chacon, Josh Whitehouse, and Suki Waterhouse play Daisy Jones & the Six in the series, and in doing so, also became something of a real band. Yes, it’s actually them singing and playing all of their own instruments in the show and on the album.

Phoebe Bridgers, Marcus Mumford, and Jackson Brown contributed to the songwriting, which Blake Mills led. Like the band and the book, the album is heavily influenced by 1970s acts like Fleetwood Mac.
