The Caitlin Clark WNBA takeover is about to reach its highest height.
On Saturday, July 19, the star Indiana Fever guard will start the 2025 All-Star Game on her home Gainbridge Field hardwood after receiving the most fan votes of any player.
She’ll be joined by nine other elite ballers in Indy who received the nod from astute hoop-heads.
They are:
• Minnesota Lynx forward Napheesa Collier who nabbed the second most votes and is making her fifth All-Star Game appearance.
• Seattle Storm vet Nneka Ogwumike who is now the fifth player in WNBA history with ten All-Star Game selections.
• Clark’s teammate and Indiana Fever standout Aliyah Boston (third ASG).
• Dallas Wings rookie Paige Bueckers (first).
• Atlanta Dream guard and two-time 2024 Skills Challenge Winner Allisha Gray (third).
• New York Liberty guard and 2024 WNBA champion Sabrina Ionescu (fourth).
• New York Liberty forward and fellow champ Breanna Stewart (seventh).
• Phoenix Mercury phenom Satou Sabally (third).
• Las Vegas Aces great A’ja Wilson (seventh).
When the ten meet — along with the 12 reserves announced on Sunday, July 6 — they won’t play a traditional Eastern versus Western Conference All-Star Game. Rather, Caitlin Clark and Napheesa Collier “draft” their teams on July 8, which will air on ESPN as an “hourlong WNBA Countdown.”
Coaches representing Team Clark and Collier will be whoever has the best record after Friday, July 3. It doesn’t matter which conference they come from, only the win-loss percentage matters here. Whoever is on top coaches Clark (since she received the most votes) and second place helms Collier’s squad.
But wait! There’s more!
Before tip-off on Saturday, the annual three-point contest and skills challenge go down on the Fever’s home court.
