This isn’t your average week five game.
On Sunday, Oct. 8, Brock Purdy’s 4-0 San Francisco 49ers will take on Dak Prescott’s 3-1 Dallas Cowboys at Santa Clara’s Levi’s Stadium in a rematch of the 2022-23 NFC Divisional round of the playoffs.
As you may recall, the 49ers won by a score of 19-12.
To add insult to injury, Kyle Shanahan’s squad beat Mike McCarthy’s club in the 2021 postseason, too.
Clearly, there’s a lot of pride on the line here.
And if you want to be right in the middle of the action to see potential MVP Christian McCaffrey and standout CeeDee Lamb play live, it isn’t too late to pick up last-minute tickets.
They will cost you though.
At the time of publication, the lowest price we could find on seats was $287 before fees on Vivid Seats.
100-level tickets will run you $432 before fees.

While this is a big game, 49ers coach Kyle Shanahan stressed that he didn’t want his team to get too in their heads about it.
“Got a lot of respect for the Cowboys and how good of a team they are,” he said in a press conference. “We know the challenge that we have in front of us and I think we’re aware of the rivalry and the history, which is always cool. But besides that, it’s Week 5.”
As for Cowboys coach Mike McCarthy, he acknowledged former last pick Purdy’s prowess.
“I think the biggest thing is that he has total command of the offense,” McCarthy told reporter Joseph Hoyt. “He’s played high level football his whole life.”
