The penultimate episode of the season, “Isle of Joy,” proves that those changes were justified, delivering the best installment of Born Again and setting up a must-see season finale.

“Isle of Joy” concludes with a banger of a cliffhanger as Matt learns that Vanessa is the one who ordered the hit on Foggy. Moments later, Bullseye, who just escaped from prison, takes aim at Fisk, but Matt jumps in front of him and takes the bullet for his arch-nemesis.

We’ve been shooting a lot of crazy sequences,” Daredevil: Born Again executive producer Sana Amanat told Marvel.com about Season 2 production. “The crew is crushing it, and the action is nonstop. The backdrop is a little different. It’s still New York, but it’s a slightly different kind of New York.”

Continued Amanat, “I’m very excited about the material we’ve been getting. I’ve been fangirling all week. We shot a really big sequence with Wilson Fisk this week, and I felt like a kid in a candy shop.”
