Hulu‘s original series Chad Powers — co-created by Powell and Michael Waldron and based on the “Eli’s Places” segment from ESPN and Omaha Productions — is here to take you on a wild ride.
“Eight years after an unforgivable mistake nukes his promising college football career, hotshot quarterback Russ Holliday (Powell) tries to resurrect his dreams by disguising himself as Chad Powers — a talented oddball who walks on to the struggling South Georgia Catfish,” the show’s official synopsis reads.
Powell and Waldron, who also serve as EPs, co-wrote the Chad Powers pilot. Plus, Eli and Peyton Manning also serve as EPs, along with Jamie Horowitz, Ben Brown, ESPN’s Burke Magnus, Brian Lockhart, Kati Fernandez, and more.
