It was a most unusual helicopter crash.
A truck driver got stuck in an overpass in Louisiana when a $30 million chopper he was hauling became jammed in it.
A shocking image posted by WBRZ shows the chopper, which was loaded on a towing trailer, lodged under the Interstate 12 overpass in Denham Springs after the Friday mishap on Range Avenue.
The craft’s rotor apparently struck a support beam on the underside of the bridge, which passes 15 feet above the road, according to signs along the route.
The driver, Miguel Rodriguez, 56, of Texas-based International Machine Transport, was ticketed for careless operation, police said.
Officials did not release details about the whirlybird, but it appeared to resemble a Sikorsky S-92, which costs nearly $30 million, according to the news outlet.
The aircraft was being transported from Georgia to Lafayette, Louisiana, police said.
