Superhot comic Matt Rife seems to have a love life almost as sizzling as his career.
Page Six hears the studly stand-up recently had a fling with “Pretty Little Liars” star Lucy Hale, and then began a more serious relationship with another actress.
Apparently he’s smitten, and pulling out all the stops to see her amidst his career taking off.
Rife looks set to be the biggest new stand-up star of recent years. He only shot his first special in 2021, and he’s already booked for a three-night stand at Radio City Music Hall in early 2024.
But he’s known almost as much for his Hollywood looks (and fawning fan base) as his material.
We hear he’s dealt a cruel blow to his army of admirers by getting together with actress Jessica Lord.
According to sources, Rife is on a busy tour, but makes sure that any downtime he has, he spends with her — even if it takes long car rides for just a short period of time together.
Lord is the star of Hulu’s teen drama, “Find Me in Paris.” We also hear that he had a thing with “Pretty Little Liars” star Hale before that.
It’s also been reported that he hooked up with Kate Beckinsale. In 2019 told TMZ that he dated the “Underworld” actress for a year when she was 43 and he was 21 (around 2017), and that the relationship was “complicated, for sure.” “A lot of ups and downs,” he added.
Meanwhile, back in April, Rife told GQ, “I kind of hate dating. I know I am just in my mid-to-late 20s, but still, I do want a wife and a family and a prominent home life that makes me feel comfortable, safe, and is my peace. But when I’m touring six days a week, 52 weeks out of the year, it’s incredibly hard to maintain a relationship.”
He added, “I do meet women who are fantastic human beings that I’m like, ‘Wow, you’re such a lovely person. You’re beautiful. You’re sweet, you’re kind, you’d be an excellent mother and excellent wife, excellent girlfriend, you check all these boxes, but I might not be in a position right now to fulfill your needs as a responsible boyfriend.’”
He said it makes him wonder “if I am missing out on wonderful people.”
