Netflix‘s latest true crime series Homicide: New York comes from Law & Order creator Dick Wolf and tackles five notorious murder cases in New York City.
Told over five episodes, the show unpacks each case and includes interviews with the detectives and prosecutors who investigated the murders, as well as survivors and families of the victims.
The five cases include the Carnegie Deli Murders, the Central Park Slaying, a woman who vanished while working on Wall Street, the Midtown Slasher, and the East Harlem Serial Killer.
The series premiered Mar. 20, 2024 on the streaming giant and will be followed by Homicide: Los Angeles, set to premiere later this year.
Homicide: New York isn’t Wolf’s first foray into the true crime genre. In addition to creating the Law & Order, Chicago, and FBI franchises, Wolf created the network investigative shows Cold Justice and Nightwatch.
