In what was a close game in a series that was mostly tight throughout, Cody Bellinger iced Sunday’s win with a grand slam and had six RBIs on the night.

Pete Alonso’s throwing error allowed Jasson Domínguez to score the go-ahead run and the Mets fell apart after that.

Jonathan Loáisiga struck out the first two batters he faced in the seventh before a walk and an error got him in trouble, but he got Francisco Lindor to line out to end the threat.

0-for-12: The top three batters in the Mets lineup —Francisco Lindor, Juan Soto and Pete Alonso — didn’t get a hit all night.

“I made an awful throw. That whole inning, the whole game, is on me. After that throw, the momentum got out of hand and they had really good at-bats. This one’s on me,” Pete Alonso on his eighth-inning error.
