Dodgers right-hander Walker Buehler returned to his former All-Star form with five shutout innings, the latest pitcher to shut down the disappearing Yankee lineup. 

It wasn’t just that Clarke Schmidt was bad, but in getting just eight outs, he forced the Yankee bullpen to pitch 6 ¹/₃ innings. 

Freddie Freeman’s two-run shot off Schmidt in the first sent the Dodgers on their way to another win, and he’s now homered in five straight World Series games.
