Hero, zeros and full blitz from the Jets’ 13-10 victory over the Giants on Sunday afternoon.
Zach Wilson shook off a miserable first 59 minutes to throw back-to-back 29-yard completions in the final 24 seconds to set up the tying field goal and threw a pass that drew a pass interference penalty to set up the overtime winner.
Graham Gano missed two field goals, including a 35-yarder that would’ve essentially iced a Giants’ victory with 28 seconds remaining.
Greg Zuerlein made the tying kick (35 yards) on the final play of regulation and the winner (33 yards) in overtime. Punter Thomas Morstead made sure the Jets won the field-position battle by averaging 48.1 yards on 11 punts and dropping four inside the 20-yard line.
-9: Net passing yards by the Giants, who showed no confidence in third-string quarterback Tommy DeVito when he replaced an injured Tyrod Taylor.
“I’m still trying to figure out how we won.”
— Jets receiver Allen Lazard
