Hero, zeros and full blitz from the Jets’ 30-10 loss to the Cowboys on Sunday afternoon.
CeeDee Lamb tore up the Jets’ secondary. Lamb had 11 catches for 143 yards on 13 targets. Lamb did not face just one member of the Jets’ secondary. He moved around. He had a 25-yard gain on the Cowboys’ first possession and later had a 31-yard catch.
The Jets’ offensive line was brutal. They got nothing going in the running game, rushing for just 64 yards and allowing a lot of pressure on QB Zach Wilson. Wilson was sacked three times and was dodging Cowboys defenders all day.
While Micah Parsons deservedly gets most of the attention on the Cowboys’ defense, tackle Osa Odigihizuwa had a strong day too. He ended up with a sack and tackle for loss.
36 yards rushing on scrambles for Zach Wilson, the Jets’ leading rusher on a day with no ground game to speak of. The Jets’ running backs did nothing. Breece Hall had 9 yards on four carries. Dalvin Cook had 7 yards on four carries and a fumble.
“It won’t snowball. It’s not going to snowball. Dallas played a really freaking good game. That’s a good football team. They played about, I feel, as good as you can play.”
