Heroes, zeros and the full blitz from the Giants’ 23-20 loss to the Cowboys at AT&T Stadium on Thursday:
DeMarvion Overshown made a remarkable individual effort to hit chip-blocking Devin Singletary off of his mark and then bat a screen pass to Singletary into the air. He caught the deflection and returned it for a pick-six off of Drew Lock, giving the Cowboys a 13-7 lead that they never surrendered.
The Giants offensive line allowed six sacks to the Cowboys. What else can you expect with third- and fourth-string offensive tackles Chris Hubbard and Evan Neal?
You expect Micah Parsons (1.5 sacks, four quarterback hits) to dominate. But how surprising was it to see Jets’ big-money castoff Carl Lawson (one sack, five quarterback hits) also roughing up the Giants’ backup tackle combination?

“It’s pretty difficult. We’ve got to try to find a way out, stop losing, get more wins.”
