It’s Week 2 of the NCAA football season, and Ole Miss is set to open SEC play against Kentucky this afternoon.

Ole Miss entered this season in the midst of a rebuild, with key players like Jaxson Dart and Walter Nolen beginning their pro careers after getting picked in the first round of the NFL Draft. Only four starters returned from last season, when the Rebels went 10-3. They opened this season at No. 21 on the AP Top 25 Poll, and rose to No. 20 after last week’s season opener, a blowout 63-7 win over Georgia State.

Last weekend, Kentucky opened their 2025 season with a 24-16 victory over Toledo. In his first game with the Wildcats, senior QB Zach Calzada threw for 85 yards and went 10-for-23 with no touchdowns and one interception.

Ole Miss vs. Kentucky: what to know

The two SEC teams last met in September 2024; the Wildcats took home the win in a 20-17 game.

Kickoff at today’s Ole Miss-Kentucky game is set for 3:30 p.m. ET on ABC.

If you don’t have cable, you’ll need a live TV streaming service to stream today’s Ole Miss vs. Kentucky game. One option we love is Sling TV, which has a number of flexible and cost-effective ways to subscribe, with all the channels you’ll need for college football, starting at $45.99/month. ABC is included in Sling’s Blue and Orange & Blue plans.

Additionally, DIRECTV is a great option for all things football this fall with a five-day free trial and ABC included.
