The Washington Huskies are riding a 22-game winning streak at Husky Stadium, and they’re about to face a tough test: keeping that streak alive when the No. 1 team in the country, the Ohio State Buckeyes, comes to town for the first time in nearly 20 years.

Both teams are 3-0 as they open Big Ten play against each other this afternoon.

Ohio State is coming off a bye week following three big wins against Texas, Grambling State, and Ohio. The Buckeyes’ defense has been strong this season, allowing just two touchdowns and a field goal all season.

The Huskies last played on Sunday in the annual Apple Cup, an intra-state matchup against Washington State; they won big, 59-24. They are currently 10th in the country with 536 yards per game on offense, thanks to major contributions from quarterback Demond Williams Jr. and running back Jonah Coleman.
