The New York Jets are entering NFL Week 3 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers still in search of their first win, but they’ll have to do it without their starting quarterback.
Days after a Week 2 10-30 loss to the Buffalo Bills, the Jets announced that quarterback Justin Fields would be out in Week 3 due to a concussion sustained during the game. Backup Tyrod Taylor is set to make his first start for the Jets since 2023.
The Buccaneers are 2-0, but both of their wins have come in close games. They headlined Monday Night Football in Week 2, winning 20-19 thanks to a last-minute 80-yard touchdown, pulling them ahead of the Texans.
This week, the Jets face another crucial test for a team still trying to find consistency on offense and defense, while the Buccaneers look to build momentum behind a surprisingly efficient start under center.
Here’s how to tune in to today’s Jets game without cable.
