A rivalry will be rekindled as the Georgia Bulldogs and Tennessee Volunteers open SEC play against each other in Week 3 of the NCAA football season.
Both teams are entering Week 3 2-0 and ranked in the AP Top 25. Both teams also had relatively easy schedules through the first two weeks of the season, so opening division play will be the first real test for both teams.
Georgia dropped two spots, from No. 4 to No. 6 (swapping places with Oregon), following a 28-6 win over Austin Peay. Tennessee made the largest jump in rankings over the past week, improving seven spots to No. 15 after a massive 72-17 victory over East Tennessee State.
Today’s game marks the 55th overall meeting between the Bulldogs and the Volunteers. Georgia currently leads the all-time series 29–23–2 and has won the last eight meetings.
The Georgia vs. Tennessee game is scheduled to begin at 3:30 p.m. ET today, Sept. 13.
If you don’t have cable, you’ll need a live TV streaming service to stream today’s Georgia vs. Tennessee game. One option we love is Sling TV, which has a number of flexible and cost-effective ways to subscribe, with all the channels you’ll need for college football, starting at $45.99/month. ABC is included in Sling’s Blue and Orange & Blue plans.
Additionally, DIRECTV is a great option for all things football this fall with a five-day free trial and ABC included.
