The Bears are starting 0‑2, and their defense has looked shaky, especially in the secondary, where Jaylon Johnson’s groin injury looms large. Rookie QB Caleb Williams has shown flashes, but he hasn’t had a clean outing yet, and looks particularly flustered late in games. Not that his O-line is helping much.
Meanwhile, Dallas enters with momentum. They edged out the Giants in overtime thanks to clutch kicking and a burst of offense after a slow start. But then again, that was the Giants. While their offense is humming, the Cowboys’ defense has given up too many big plays through Weeks 1‑2.
Expect Chicago to try to control the clock, lean on the run game, and attempt to force Dallas into mistakes. If the Bears can’t shore up vulnerable corners, Prescott and company may just run away with it late.
