Embattled Mayor Eric Adams got an earful from average New Yorkers on Thursday, with hecklers calling him “an embarrassment to black people” as he rallied with supporters outside Gracie Mansion.

“You belong in jail with no bail next to Sean ‘P-Diddy’ Combs,” one protester shouted. “You put the police on people. You resign. You’re an embarrassment, you’re an embarrassment to black people.”

Another protester, part of a crowd of hecklers who shouted down Adams and former NAACP president Hazel Dukes, called the mayor “nothing.”

“Our voice is louder than yours,” the woman yelled. “You’re gonna pay political people who don’t care about our people.”

The raucous comments came as Adams was hit with a 57-page federal indictment charging him with pocketing $10 million in bribes and perks.

Adams stood shoulder to shoulder with Dukes and other civil rights leaders, including Herbert Daughtry and Chantel Wright.

But a crowd of detractors marred the event, with one heckler calling Dukes “a political pawn.”

“You’re always in favor of the cops until they come after you,” one man yelled.

When Dukes suggested, “We’re not here to criticize,” one protester responded, “Yes we are!”
