An “error in judgement” will cost Isaiah Rodgers the entire 2023 NFL season — and he won’t be alone.

The Colts cornerback, under investigation by the NFL for “pervasive” sports betting, is one of a “handful” of NFLers set to received season-long suspensions, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

“I want to take full responsibility for my actions,” Rodgers wrote in a social media post on June 6, after he was linked to the league’s inquiry.

“I know I have made mistakes and I am willing to do whatever it takes to repair the situation. The last thing I ever wanted to do was to be a distraction to the Colts organization, my coaches, and my teammates. I’ve let people down that I care about.

“I made an error in judgement and I am going to work hard to make sure that those mistakes are rectified throughout the process. It’s an honor to play in the NFL and I have never taken that lightly. I am very sorry for all of this.”

It is unclear when the rest of the players names will be released.

Rodgers, who reportedly placed bets on the Colts, is the latest player to be suspended for betting amid an NFL crackdown.

Earlier this offseason, wide receivers Jameson Williams, Stanley Berryhill and Quintez Cephus and safety C.J. Moore of the Lions, plus Commanders defensive end Shaka Toney received bans for their gambling violations.
