Hamas terrorists could be seen sailing into Israeli territory on motorized paragliders as they launched a devastating ground invasion and air assault on the country.

Video footage shared on Israeli social media showed armed Hamas paragliders sailing over Israel’s southern border from the Gaza Strip immediately following a rocket attack on the country.

When the balaclava-clad terrorists floated across the heavily fortified border, they landed on motorized dune buggies attached to giant sails.

An IDF spokesperson said Hamas fighters had infiltrated from “land, sea and air,” according to The Times of Israel.

The powered paragliders appeared to consist of a seat, motor and parafoil.

The stealth air attack was just one of the methods used by the terrorists as part of their multifaceted strategy to unleash fear and terror on the Israeli population.

As the paragliders sailed through the air, terrorists entered Israel all across the northern and eastern borders of the 150 square miles of the Gaza Strip, according to reports.

Training videos released by the terrorist group showed them swooping into desolate areas while armed with machine guns and unleashing a fusillade of bullets as they landed.

The paraglide attack was the first such time an air assault of its kind took place.

The Jerusalem Post reported in 2014 that an Israeli intelligence agency had been informed that a Hamas cell was training in Malaysia to use powered paragliders for a cross-border attack, according to Aviation Week.
