Funny: The folks who’ve been loudest in shouting that the Gaza war is a “genocide” suddenly . . . don’t want it to end, not if it means executing President Donald Trump’s peace plan.
Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-Mich.) has been thundering for two years against Israel’s alleged efforts to destroy the Palestinian populace, yet now she wants the bloodshed to continue: “Trump and War Criminal Netanyahu, perpetrators of the genocide, do not get to decide the future of Gaza,” she insists; “Palestinians get to determine the future of Palestine.”
But she plainly means that Hamas gets to decide.
That is: Tlaib finds the peace plan unacceptable, even though it would immediately stop the “genocide”; she’d rather Hamas keep fighting and ensure more civilian deaths.
Here in New York, “pro-Palestine” rabblerouser Nerdeen Kiswani condemns the peace plan because removing Hamas from power is just “the next phase of genocide.”
Makes no sense, until you realize that Kiswani defines “genocide” as “Whatever Israel is doing.”
“Peace” activists have also retreated from their calls to end the war now that it entails the removal of Hamas: Medea Benjamin of Code Pink, for example, demands that the war continue until the Palestinians have “real peace: justice, freedom, and security.”

Nobody in the Arab world has justice and freedom . . . well, no one except the Arabs of Israel.
And, for what it’s worth, the Trump plan points toward more “real peace” than Gaza has seen since Israel pulled out of the territory back in 2005.
Benjamin apparently just wants Hamas to continue its savagery: War is the real peace?
All this lays bare the true motives of the anti-Zionist left. It shares Hamas’ view of the Gazan people as pawns whose suffering is politically useful, and also shares the terrorists’ actual goal: destroying Israel.
The Hamas death cult must go. Arab and Muslim leaders have signed on to the Trump plan as the best solution to end the suffering in Gaza.
And if the “pro-Palestine” crowd actually gave a damn about the Palestinians, it would demand peace now, too.
