Halle Berry had a chance to clear the air while guest hosting Today With Jenna & Friends regarding that viral video she shared of herself and her boyfriend in bed. And the Oscar-winning actress had one thing to say to the haters: “So what?”

The video in question showed Berry and her boyfriend in bed together on Mother’s Day with a bottle of lube from her company, Respin. “We’re about to give it a spin,” she said. “Happy Mother’s Day once again everybody, I hope all of you are somewhere spinning.”

After Jenna Bush Hager noted the video “created a little stir,” Berry launched into a rant against the backlash she received for sharing how she chose to celebrate her Mother’s Day.

“Other women got in their feelings,” she told Bush Hager. “They were saying, ‘Should she be talking about that on Mother’s Day. Shouldn’t she be with her kids somewhere?’ First of all, it’s not kids day, it’s called Mother’s Day! Kid’s day is every other day of the year.”

She continued, “That’s my day and if I wanna be in bed and spin with my man then that’s what I’m gonna do.”

Bush Hager then asked Berry if “spin” makes to “make out,” which Berry clarified it meant a lot more than just that.

She added, “And you saw nothing. So, we’re in a bed, so what?”

“[Sex is] the most natural thing we do as women as men. And for people to be offended by that, saying Instagram is a family channel, yeah and we should be allowed to talk about this in our families,” she said.

Berry almost moved Bush Hager to tears later in their conversation when she said we should be allowed to “celebrate” love in today’s day and age.

“It should be okay to celebrate that and not be criticized for talking about love. In a time like this, in a world like this today, I’m sorry we should talk more about loving each other and not fighting,” she said.

“I love that, I wanna cry,” Bush Hager said.

Berry ended the conversation with a final shot at her critics. “Whoever didn’t like it, so what?” she said.

Today with Jenna & Friends airs on weekdays at 10/9c on NBC.
