NextImg:Gypsy Rose Blanchard wanted kids, praised husband’s sex skills pre-split: ‘D is fire’

Gypsy Rose Blanchard is splitting from her husband, Ryan Anderson — months after her viral comment about their sex life.

The newly-freed Munchausen by Proxy victim, 32, revealed Thursday on her private Facebook account that she and Anderson, 37, have parted ways three months after she was released from prison for her role in killing her mother, Dee Dee.

The pair met via snail mail in 2020 when Anderson decided to write Blanchard a letter and his friend joked about writing to “Tiger King” star, Joe Exotic — but never did.

Meanwhile, Blanchard and Anderson, a special education teacher from Louisiana, formed a connection and tied the knot in 2022 while she was still incarcerated. She even called him her “emotional backbone” in an interview with People upon her prison release in January.

Blanchard joined — then quickly logged off — social media and went on a press tour, often accompanied by Anderson. The couple faced criticism for capitalizing on their notoriety and newfound celebrity, which promoted Blanchard to issue an infamous public statement to her husband.

Commenting on one of Anderson’s Instagram posts, Blanchard told her husband, “don’t listen to the haters,” and that the couple doesn’t “owe anyone anything.”

“Besides, they jealous because you are rocking my world every night,” Gypsy wrote. “Yeah I said it, the D is fire,” she revealed.

Blanchard also spoke to People about the couple’s future plans to have kids.

“We’re in love. It’s hard because I’m going into a new life and I’m newly married, and I’m going to have kids one day, and I’m going to have to explain to my kids why their grandmother on mommy’s side isn’t around. And that’s going to be a really hard conversation,” she told the outlet in December.

“Whenever someone says, ‘Do you think that because of what you went through, you’re going to do that to your kids?’ I say, ‘You know what? Absolutely not.,'” she added about not having any worries about repeating her mother’s behavior. “I have learned what not to do. I have no concerns about my parenting when it comes to that.”

Back then, Blanchard also raved about her marriage to Anderson, claiming she felt their best days were ahead of them.

“I don’t foresee any major hardships. I think this, being in prison, has been the hard part. I think when I’m at home with my family, with my husband’s arms around me and I’m surrounded by my loved ones, that is when I will be happy,” she said.
