Two people and their dog were shot and killed outside Highbridge Park in Washington Heights Friday night, the NYPD said.

A 57-year-old woman and 42-year-old man were both shot in the head at 6:30 p.m. outside Highbridge Park near West 165 Street and Edgecombe Ave, police said.

The gunman also turned the gun on their white and brown pit bull, killing the canine.

The couple was rushed to Harlem Hospital, where they were pronounced dead.

Police are still on the hunt for the shooter.
