


A suspected gunman was killed and two students were wounded in a shooting at a small Christian school in California.
The gunfire broke out at the Feather River School of Seventh-Day Adventists in Palermo, an elementary school with an enrollment of only 33 students, according to its website.
Two students were wounded and taken to the hospital, KCRA reported.
Little is known about the incident at this point, but official confirmed a shooter has been killed and that students have been taken to a nearby church to be picked up by their parents, according to the San Francisco Chronicle.
“The suspected shooter is deceased,” the Butte County Sheriffs Office said in a statement.
Palermo is about 65 miles north of Sacramento.
