Greta Gerwig and Noah Baumbach are ending the year as husband and wife, a source told Page Six.
Spies caught the “Barbie” director happily telling people backstage at Billy Joel’s Madison Square Garden concert on Tuesday night that they’d just got married at City Hall.
“They were both glowing and celebrating. They are so happy,” the source said.
Our source told us Gerwig looked “so gorgeous” in a stunning white suit skirt and jacket. “She looked like a bride. He looked handsome in his suit,” they added.
We hear the couple was also gushing to people at City Hall about their wedding, moments before they headed uptown to catch Joel at MSG.
The low-key couple started dating in 2011, and they got engaged in 2020. She, however, told James Corden that same year she preferred not to call the Oscar-nominated “Marriage Story” director her “fiance” because it “makes it sound like there’s an imminent wedding.”
Gerwig and Baumbach quietly welcomed their second child together, his third, back in March.
“He’s a little Schmoo,” she said in Elle UK cover story published in July, referring to the classic comic book character. “That’s very much his energy. He’s a wise little baby.”
They are also parents to son Harold, 4, and he shares son, Rohmer, 13, with actress Jennifer Jason Leigh.
He was married to Leigh. It’s Gerwig’s first marriage.
A rep for the couple did not comment by our deadline.
