He was Winnie the moocher.

Thought that bruin who stole cupcakes last month was brazen? Footage showed the wild moment that a hangry bear gatecrashed a party and ransacked the buffet spread in front of stunned revelers.

A group of partygoers were reportedly enjoying an open-air bash at San Pedro Garza Garcia in Nuevo León, Mexico, when all of a sudden, the large black bear decided to help itself to their vittles, CEN reported.

In the wild clip, which boasts over 80,000 views on TikTok, the bruin can be seen boldly shambling through the party as the music blares.

Baloo then arrives at the tented buffet table, whereupon it stands up on its hind legs and starts devouring a tray of canapes.

After a few bites, the bear gets down and makes like it’s going to leave, before changing its mind and returning for seconds.

The clip concludes with Winnie the Moocher pillaging the platter as a caterer looks on incredulously.

Incredible, party-goers didn’t try to flee with some standing just a few inches from the humongous hors d’oeuvres hog, apparently oblivious to the potential danger.

Needless to say, the bearglary caused quite a stir on TikTok. “Gotta pay the bear tax,” quipped one TikTok wit, while another wrote, “Bear wasn’t gonna pass up on some good food.”

However, while the video may have been humorous to online viewers, the incident was no laughing matter.

The American black bear’s range spans most of North America, encompassing everywhere from Alaska to Northern Mexico.
Newsflash

Consuming human meals can cause bears to become habituated to humans — a phenomenon known as “food conditioning” — prompting them to lose their fear of people and thereby increasing the chances of an attack.

In June, a black bear had to be euthanized after attacking a woman and her three-year-old daughter with authorities suspecting that it had been “food-conditioned.”
