The day has finally come, so grab those tissues — and maybe pour a glass of wine. It’s what she’d want! Hoda Kotb is officially retiring from daytime television after 27 years at NBC.

Her decision to retire came as a major shock, but there was nobody more surprised than her partner in crime and Today co-host of five years, Jenna Bush Hager. Lots of tears have been shed as the co-hosts have spent weeks preparing for this farewell, and it’s finally culminating in one big “Hoda-bration” as Kotb prepares to move on to the next part of her exciting, decades-long career.

Though she is expected to remain at NBC in some capacity, Kotb has indicated that she’s more interested in spending more time with her daughters and working in wellness — and dating.
