Gleyber Torres was pulled after three innings Friday night. 

It was unclear if this was the result of him not running hard out of the box or an injury.

He has dealt with a groin issue in the recent past. 

Torres didn’t run hard out of the box on a line drive off the fence in left field in the second inning, and only got a single out of it.

He was then thrown out at the plate on an Anthony Volpe double.

Torres obviously would have scored from second base on the play. 

He was replaced to start the top of the fourth inning by Oswaldo Cabrera.
