A 12-year-old girl was stabbed by another 12-year old inside her Queens school Wednesday afternoon, cops said.

The pre-teen was knifed in the left hand inside Pathways College Preparatory School — located within the same building as I.S. 192 The Linden — on 204th Street near 111th Avenue in Hollis around 11:50 a.m., police said.

She was taken to Cohen Children’s Medical Center, where she was listed in stable condition, authorities said.

A “person of interest” who also attends the school — described by sources as also 12 years old — was taken into custody.

The school was placed “on a hold” after the midday “incident between students,” according to city Department of Education spokeswoman Jenna Lyle.

“The safety and wellbeing of our students is our absolute top priority,” Lyle said in a statement. “Additional emotional supports will be provided to any student who needs it.”

The school does not typically have metal detectors installed, but the NYPD was “reverse-scanning” students already inside the building for weapons in the aftermath of the incident, cops and sources said.

The stabbing comes just two days after a 14-year-old boy was slashed in the chest during a dismissal-time fight with a 13-year-old student outside M.S. 246 Walt Whitman in Flatbush, Brooklyn, cops said.

The wounded teen first ran back inside his school before he was taken to the Kings County Hospital Center, where he was listed in stable condition, cops and sources said.
