Gigi Hadid is “happy” with her and Zayn Malik’s co-parenting relationship.
The model made a rare comment about her and the former One Direction member’s dynamic raising daughter Khai in a new interview.
Hadid told the Times of London that she crafts her work schedule around when the 3-year-old “is with her dad.”
The fashion designer added, “That she can be with both parents makes me very happy.”
Hadid, 27, and Malik, 30, welcomed their baby girl in September 2020 and broke up in October of the following year.
The exes’ 2021 split came on the heels of an altercation involving Gigi’s mom, Yolanda Hadid, in which the “Pillowtalk” singer allegedly pushed the “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” alum, now 59, into a dresser.
While Malik denied striking Yolanda, he pleaded no contest to harassment charges in the case later that same month.
The “X Factor” alum was subsequently sentenced to 360 days of probation and required to attend both anger management and domestic violence programs.
Gigi did not address the incident at the time, with her rep explaining to Page Six that she was “solely focused on the best for Khai.”
She has since made rare mentions of Malik via social media, from honoring him on Father’s Day in June 2022 to celebrating Khai’s 2nd birthday with him three months later.
The former couple, who keep their little one’s face off social media, began their on-again, off-again relationship in 2015.
The duo split and reconciled multiple times, with Gigi dating “Bachelorette” alum Tyler Cameron and racing driver Lewis Hamilton during those breaks.
Most recently, the Guest in Residence creator has been romantically linked to Leonardo DiCaprio.
She and the Oscar winner, 48, were spotted on multiple dates in the fall of 2022.
Although the pair made headlines last month for both attending a pal’s birthday dinner, a source told Page Six in December 2022 that they aren’t “serious” about each other.
“Gigi’s priority is her daughter,” the insider said at the time, clarifying that she and the “Titanic” star did “like each other very much.”
As for Malik, he has not gone public with any new relationship since ending things with Gigi.
