Gigi Hadid is the model in residence.
The star hit the Met Gala 2025 red carpet wearing a Miu Miu liquid gold halter gown dotted with multicolored beads, perfectly befitting the night’s theme, “Superfine: Tailoring Black Style.”
The shimmering custom look featured a long train and ruching at the drop-waist is inspired by the gown worn by Josephine Baker, the first black actress to star in a major motion picture, in 1951.
Hadid accessorized with large silver and gold drop earrings and wore her blond hair in pin-up-style Victory rolls.
Hadid was not accompanied by boyfriend Bradley Cooper on the carpet despite going Instagram-official with the Oscar-nominated actor in celebration of her 30th birthday with a steamy kissing pic this weekend. Cooper has been linked to Hadid since 2023.

While Cooper has most recently attended the Met Gala in 2023, and previously attended with ex-girlfriend Irina Shayk, his presence hasn’t been consistent while Hadid has been a mainstay on the red carpet since 2015, with this marking her tenth-straight appearance.
For last year’s “The Garden of Time” theme, Hadid wore a white off-the-shoulder Thom Browne corset gown with a voluminous silk coat affixed to her waist. The ensemble – which was covered in hand-crafted 3D yellow flowers – took over 13,500 hours to create, according to Vogue.
During the candid cover interview with Vogue earlier this year, Hadid discussed how she completely transforms while on set or walking the runway.
“If you just met me at a photo shoot, you wouldn’t see a full depiction of me,” Hadid told the magazine. “I feel that as a model, I’m a performer.”
She also made rare comments about her relationship with Cooper, 50, calling their bond “very romantic and happy” and expressing that she feels “really lucky” to have him.
“Getting to the point where knowing what you want and deserve in a relationship is essential,” the “Next in Fashion” co-host explained.
“And then to find someone that is in a place in their life where they know what they want and deserve,” she continued. “And you both do work separately to come together and be the best partner that you can be.”
