NextImg:Giants vs. Seahawks prediction, odds: ‘Monday Night Football’ pick, best bets

The Seattle Seahawks and New York Giants close out Week 4 of the NFL card on “Monday Night Football” at Met Life Stadium.

Seattle is a short road favorite seeking its third consecutive win, while New York is back home after losing at San Francisco in Week 3.

Giants quarterback Daniel Jones has struggled to rack up yards this season, being held to less than 125 yards in each of the two defeats to the Cowboys and 49ers.

(8:15 p.m. ET., ESPN)

The only game where Jones had moderate success passing came in the Week 2 comeback victory at Arizona, in which he posted 321 yards through the air and two touchdowns.

Carolina’s Andy Dalton posted 361 yards through the air against Seattle in Week 3, but the Seahawks outlasted the Panthers, 37-27.

Kayvon Thibodeaux looks to turn his season around against the Seahawks who are missing multiple pieces of their offensive line.

Seattle is the only team in the NFL that is allowing an average of over 300 yards passing a game.

That vulnerability likely makes the Giants a live underdog here, although Jones will certainly have to do his part, especially since he will likely be without star running back Saquon Barkley, who is doubtful with an ankle injury.

On the other side of the ball, though, New York should be able to get pressure on Geno Smith with the blitz, which he has struggled with in his career. I expect Smith to make a key mistake or two under pressure that ultimately swings this game in the way of the desperate home team.

I’m still lower than the market on Seattle, so it’s no surprise to me I show value on the Giants here. Let’s take the points with New York and hope for a fun one.
