Jalen Mills has found his next team and the Giants have their new safety.

The former Patriot agreed to a one-year deal with Big Blue on Tuesday, <a href="https://twitter.com/AdamSchefter/status/1767662744688287916?s=20">ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported.</a>

Mills played in 17 games for New England last season and recorded 45 tackles, a forced fumble and a pass defended.

He essentially replaces Xavier McKinney, who had departed Big Blue via free agency and signed with the Packers, though it’s possible the Giants could add or draft another safety. 

Mills had originally been a seventh-round pick by the Eagles in 2016.
