The Giants have a new backup quarterback for Daniel Jones.

The team agreed to terms with Drew Lock in NFL free agency on Tuesday, according to multiple reports.

Lock’s contract is for $5 million and fully guaranteed, according to ESPN.

The 27-year-old was Geno Smith’s backup with the Seahawks last season after spending three years with the Broncos, who drafted him in the second round in 2019.

Lock started 13 games for Denver in 2020 but completed just 57.3 percent of his passes and threw an NFL-high 15 interceptions.

The NFL legal tampering period is here. The Post has a full recap of all the biggest deals agreed to from the start of NFL free agency.

In four appearances (two starts) for Seattle in 2023, Lock had 543 yards, three touchdowns and three interceptions.

The signing means Tommy DeVito, a brief folk hero while filling in for an injured Jones last year, won’t be entrusted with backup duties.

It also could hint at what the Giants’ plans are for the No. 6 overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft.

Jones, entering the second year of a four-year, $160 million contract, is coming off a torn ACL.
