The Giants appear to have avoided the worst with Andrew Thomas.

The left tackle is suffering from just a sore hamstring, which is not believed to be something that will affect him long-term, ESPN’s Jordan Raanan reported.

Per Raanan, Thomas — who went for an MRI on Monday — could still miss time, and things could depend on how this week goes for the 24-year-old.

Thomas suffered the injury while chasing and failing to prevent the return of a blocked field goal that turned into a Cowboys touchdown in the Giants’ 40-0 loss on Sunday night.

Thomas played after suffering the injury, taking 53 of the 70 offensive snaps before he sat down.
