The Giants have an opportunity to win back so much needed respect after their Week 1 loss to the Cowboys.

Coming off a 40-0 shellacking by their NFC East rivals, the Giants can hit the reset button in a matchup with the lowly Cardinals at University of Phoenix Stadium.

Leaving Arizona at 0-2 ahead of a “Thursday Night Football” matchup on short rest would be catastrophic for a team with postseason hopes.

“In the NFL, when you lose, it’s a long week,’’ safety Jason Pinnock told The Post this week. “We want to prove to the world that’s not the Giants that [lost] Sunday night. The overall morale of the team, we feel good where we’re at. You cannot let Week 1, when everything went wrong, domino into the year. We’ve got two games in 10 days. We blink and we’re 0-3.’’

For quarterback Daniel Jones, the Giants’ $40 million man, and his offensive line, the Arizona duel is an opportunity to get his season on track after a 15-for-28, 104 yard-performance against the Cowboys in which he was sacked seven times.

A bounce-back performance against journeyman Josh Dobbs and the rebuilding, enshrouded-in-drama Cardinals is there for the taking.
