The Giants may have made the playoffs earlier than anyone expected them to, but they aren’t going to speed up their schedule yet.

GM Joe Schoen has been adamant about the franchise sticking to its plan to build a contender, despite making it to the playoffs and earning a surprise postseason win.

“The offense has a very defined plan on how they are going to utilize certain positions, and it makes it easy to go scout players for them,’’ Schoen said this week. “We are going through all those players regardless of position, regardless of what they look like physically, and trying to figure out what their fit would be with the team and what their role would be.’’

The Giants come to Union Station in Kansas City with a whopping 10 picks in the 2023 NFL Draft, starting with the No. 25 overall selection on Thursday night.

From there, Schoen will have three picks on Friday and six more on Saturday, barring any weekend wheeling-and-dealing.
