Ghislaine Maxwell is peeved that a woman — herself — is the only person who seems to have faced consequences over Jeffrey Epstein’s sex-trafficking ring, her attorney said as a trove of new documents concerning the sinister scheme began being made public Wednesday.

“I don’t think she has anything to talk about except maybe that if you look at this crime, this overall crime, it’s all about men abusing women for a long period of time… and it’s only one person in jail — a woman,” Maxwell’s lawyer , Arthur Aidala, told NewsNation on Tuesday.

Maxwell, 62, is serving a 20-year prison sentence on a federal sex-trafficking conviction for recruiting and grooming underage girls for Epstein — who killed himself in his Manhattan jail cell in 2019, before he could face trial.

While Maxwell appears to believe others should be prosecuted for their alleged ties to Epstein’s sick scheme, she didn’t want to comment on the release of long-sealed documents containing the names of 170 people associated with the financier, her attorney said.

She had “nothing to say” beyond expressing her ire that only a woman has faced justice for the crimes against women, Aidala told the outlet.

The court documents — containing the names of people previously known only as John and Jane Does — stem from a 2015 lawsuit by Epstein accuser Virginia Giuffre, who was alleged Maxwell facilitated the sexual abuse she suffered.

Though many of the people identified in the documents are expected to be previously known to have been associated with Epstein — including former President Bill Clinton and the UK’s Prince Andrew– the files have the potential to reveal explosive and incriminating new details.

A Manhattan federal judge ruled last month that the files could be made public.

“Ghislaine Maxwell took no position on the Court’s recent decision to unseal documents in Giuffre v. Maxwell as these disclosures have no bearing on her or her pending appeal,” Aidala and another of Maxwell’s attorneys, Diana Fabi Samson, added in a statement to The Post Wednesday.

“Ghislaine’s focus is on the upcoming appellate argument asking for her entire case to dismissed. She is confident that she will obtain justice in the Second Circuit Court of Appeals,” the statement said. “She has consistently and vehemently maintained her innocence.”
