Gerry Turner just may have found his happily ever after. The very first star of The Golden Bachelor dropped by The View today to celebrate the premiere of his new show, which is a senior citizen spin on the popular Bachelor franchise. While we don’t know how successful Turner’s journey to love was, the 72-year-old seemed to hint today that he found what he was looking for on the show.

Turner, who came armed with a bouquet of golden roses for The View hosts, seemed to confirm that he fell in love on The Golden Bachelor.

“Without giving anything away, are you happy with how the season went and how things ended for you?” Sara Haines asked Turner.

He replied, “So, two-part question: I’m very happy about how the season went. There was excitement, there was joy, there was great dates, a lot of adventure. And then the second part is, am I happy how it ended?”

Grinning, he added, “I wouldn’t be sitting here with a big smile on my face,” as the table erupted into cheers and applause.

“That makes me so happy,” Alyssa Farah Griffin said, as Joy Behar added, “That’s nice. You found another soulmate, I like that,” as Turner nodded and smiled.

Whoopi Goldberg shut it all down before Turner could spill more details. She told the audience, “We’re gonna leave that alone at this table right now.”

Turner’s View appearance comes days after he spoke with Decider’s Nicole Galluci about his time on the first-of-its-kind show.

Turner told Decider he was “so committed” to The Golden Bachelor and “to doing everything I could at every moment” on the show. He also teased his joyful ending, saying, “But I have absolutely no regrets about that show. I’m extremely happy about how things turned out. I’m extremely happy that I met all those women. They are so spectacular.”

The View airs weekdays at 11/10c on ABC. The Golden Bachelor premieres tonight, Sept. 28 at 8/7c on ABC.
