Georgia football wide receiver De’Nylon Morrissette, 19, was arrested Monday in Oconee County in Georgia after he allegedly crashed into another vehicle on a highway and was found at fault.

Morrissette was charged with driving under the influence of drugs and driving too fast for conditions, among other charges, after he crashed into another car while trying to pass on the right.

According to a police report obtained by the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, police smelled the odor of marijuana when they pulled him over, and they later found a black digital scale in the car.

He was released on a $1,721 cash bond.

Morrissette’s arrest is just the latest in a series of off-field incidents for the national champion Bulldogs — who declined President Biden’s White House invite — in the last calendar year.

Offensive lineman Devin Willock and team staffer Chandler LeCroy were killed in January in a car crash following a celebration for the team’s national championship title victory over TCU.

It was determined that LeCroy, who was driving, was going over 100 miles per hour when the car struck a power pole.

Star defensive lineman Jalen Carter was then charged with reckless driving in relation to the incident, accused of racing LeCroy’s car before the crash.

Carter was selected by the Philadelphia Eagles with the No. 9 pick in the 2023 Draft last month, though he was considered a candidate to go first overall before the off-field trouble surfaced.

Starting linebacker Jamon Dumas-Johnson was also arrested in relation to the January crash.

This was all after safety Javon Bullard was arrested for DUI during the regular season in September.

He was named the defensive MVP of the championship game months later.

According to body camera footage obtained by the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, the officer that pulled Morrissette over made a comment about the large number of arrests related to the Bulldogs football program.

“Y’all got to slow down,” the officer said. “We’ve been getting all of y’all – a lot. You obviously know about the other wreck and stuff. Y’all got to slow down.”

Weeks earlier, cops were called to Morrissette’s residence over loud music and a “strong odor of marijuana” after a neighbor alerted them, but there were no charges or citations.
