We’ll never forget how the fashionable fraudster wore a $1350 Burberry jacket, $695 Ferragamo loafers and a $9,759 Cartier Santos de Cartier watch (I apologize to the voter in Syosset whose Visa probably paid for that wardrobe) to the House Chamber and still looked like your college TA.
That maniacal, squeaky laugh during interviews, as if he was a “Batman” villain padlocked in Arkham Asylum, will ring in New Yorkers’ inner ears for years to come.
He even falsely claimed to be one of the producers of the 2011 flop Broadway musical “Spider-Man: Turn Off The Dark.” This guy is a character from Mel Brooks’ “The Producers”!
I review hundreds of movies and theater shows each season, and Santos tops ‘em all.
Even now, I’m not entirely convinced that we won’t soon learn that the man was Sacha Baron Cohen in a mask all along.
While getting George out of Congress is good for New York, I hope it’s not the last we’ve seen of this mesmerizing circus act.
Perhaps there’s an opening for Kitara at Lips Drag Queen Show Palace on E. 56th Street.
