General Hospital character Molly Lansing-Davis is about to be recast a second time, just months after the original actress exited the show due to a felony DUI charge.
Actress Holiday Mia Kriegel, who played Molly for about two months, will be replaced by Brooke Anne Smith, per Soaps.com. Smith made her debut on the soap opera today. This marks the end of Kriegel’s short-lived run on the show.
Kriegel was initially cast as a replacement for Haley Pullos, the original actress who has starred in the role since 2009 but exited in April after she was arrested for felony DUI.
“I am going to need a little time to recover,” she said upon her exit. The actress claimed she expected to “be back as soon as possible.”
TMZ later reported that Pullos had been driving in the wrong direction when she caused a head-on collision. She was allegedly also involved in a prior hit-and-run.
Officers said they found marijuana edibles and tequila at the scene of the crash. Pullos also allegedly showed “clear signs of intoxication,” TMZ reported at the time.

No fatalities were reported, but the other driver sustained serious injuries.
Smith, who is the latest to play Molly, has been acting since she was a teenager. The 39-year-old actress most recently starred in the lead role of Tyler Perry’s series Too Close To Home. But she has also made a number of appearances across television programs such as Malcolm and the Middle and CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, amongst others.
It does not look like General Hospital fans can expect to see Pullos again on the long-running soap.
The actress is now being sued by the other driver for causing “lasting injuries to his body and severe damage to his car,” TMZ reports. He is suing Pullos for damages.
