NextImg:Fulham vs. Bournemouth odds, prediction: Premier League picks, best bet Monday

Monday’s lone Premier League match features two teams trying to put the finishing touches on their best-ever season.

Fulham comes into the match with 48 points, just five shy of its club record in the Premier League.

The Cottagers still have a chance to qualify for the 2025-26 Europa League, which would be a massive accomplishment for Marco Silva’s side.

Bournemouth is also knocking on the door for European soccer next season, and the Cherries are on pace to obliterate their record finish in the top flight.

Not only are these two teams in the ascendancy in the Premier League, but they’re also standouts at opposite sides of the pitch.

Fulham is one of England’s best defensive clubs, while Bournemouth is an offensive buzzsaw.

Only two teams, Arsenal and Liverpool, concede fewer expected goals per match than the Cottagers, and only three, Liverpool, Chelsea and Manchester City, create more than the Cherries.

This clash of styles should make for a wrestling match, as both teams will do everything they can to get the game on their terms.

Bournemouth will want the ball moving quickly, up and down the pitch, while Fulham will want to grind the game down and limit the opportunities for the game to open up.

This should lead to a scrappy match, as the two teams try to get a feel for one another in the opening stages.
