A former aide to Mike Pence is firing back at Peter Navarro, who questioned why the White House would want to hire women after watching people like herself and Alyssa Farah Griffin speak out against Donald Trump.

On this morning’s episode of The View, Olivia Troye slammed the Republican politician as a “bully” and even claimed he got physical with her during their time working for the Trump administration.

“I’ll say this about Peter Navarro,” Troye told the Hot Topics table. “He was one of the craziest people working in the Trump White House.”

According to Troye, she was under “strict orders” by Pence’s Chief of Staff to keep Navarro, who was the Assistant to the President at the time, out of her boss’ office. She was also told not to let any “documents or propaganda” he was allegedly issuing make its way to the Vice President’s desk.

“There was a time in the West Wing where he actually walked up and I literally took the documents and I was like, ‘Thank you. I’ll make sure he gets them’ —  meaning I’m gonna go shred them right now,” she recalled. “Let’s be honest, because my job is to make sure it did not get into that office and make sure he wasn’t gonna spread disinformation like he wanted.”

Troye continued, “He actually grabbed my wrist and grabbed my hand and wanted to wrestle the papers out of me. You could see the anger. He’s a bully and he is mean. He’s got that violence in him.”

However, this wasn’t the only time Troye claimed she witnessed the wrath of her ex-co-worker. On a separate occasion, she alleged that Navarro got into a “screaming match” with Dr. Stephen Hahn, the head of the FDA.

“Marc Short, the Vice President’s Chief of Staff at the time, had to actually come in and interrupt the argument and be like, ‘OK. What are you doing?'” she explained. “He was yelling at him about Hydroxychloroquine. So this is the kind of individual that we’re dealing with.”

The View airs on weekdays at 11/10c on ABC.
